One of the largest campaigns ever in the history of Kerala to mark the World Diabetes Month, Diabetes Kerala 2012 activities were organized by Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Centre and P.Kesavadev Trust supported by International Diabetes Federation (IDF) from Nov 12-25 for 14 days with 14 different programs covering all 14 districts in Kerala. The prevalence of diabetes in Kerala is estimated to be 18- 22%; highest in India despite 100% literacy!!!
